Ingredients
- 4 cod fillets (about 150โ180g each)
- ยฝ cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko for extra crispiness)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ยฝ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- ยฝ teaspoon dried parsley (optional)
- Cooking spray or 1โ2 tablespoons olive oil
Step 1: Prepare the Fish
First, pat the cod fillets dry with paper towels. Removing extra moisture helps the coating stick better and become crispy.
If the fillets are very large, you can cut them into smaller pieces. Make sure the fish is fully thawed if using frozen cod.
Lightly season both sides of the cod with a small pinch of salt and pepper.
Step 2: Prepare the Breading Station
You will need three shallow bowls.
Bowl 1: Add flour.
